Originally from Atchison, Kansas, I graduated from Kansas University with a degree in Film Studies. I started part-time with Sunflower Broadband’s Channel 6 in 1989, learning video production from the ground up. I’ve been lucky to be involved in a variety of productions, from news, elections, sports, cooking, music, trivia and commercial production.

Working with the creative and talented people at both our stations, Channel 6 in Lawrence and KTKA in Topeka as well as our production division of Free State Studios make my job very rewarding. There is never a dull or boring moment!
